My name is Josh Stevens.
Until you read the previous sentence, it is unlikely that you
were at
all familiar with me. Now that you are familiar with my
name, it is time to introduce you to my skills and qualifications. My
area of expertise is, if there was ever any doubt, in the field of
information technology. Specifically, I am skilled in web development,
computer construction and repair, PC troubleshooting, hardware tweaking
(i.e. BIOS modification or overclocking), graphic design, programming,
and database administration. Through both professional and personal
persuits, I can say with the great confidence that I am not only a
geek, but a certifiable poindexter. Make no mistake, you are not
reading the resume of some kid that took Excell lessons in high school
and fancies himself a hacker; I have built my own PCs, I have
programmed my own computer games (both in C++ and various scripting
systems), I have managed inventory databases, and I have designed my
own web sites, including this one. My tablet PC and MP3 player are both
running custom operating systems. I have repaired many computers. I
have done all these things, and still seek more challenges in this
decidedly unique field.
